Plans & billing FAQ
How does your own key (BYOK) work?
Every plan accepts your own AI key (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or xAI). Usage on that key is billed by the provider, with no Zihin markup. On every plan it works alongside the Zihin token allowance; on the Trial, the allowance is 100K complimentary tokens.
Can I change plans at any time?
Yes, from the console. Upgrades take effect immediately: the prorated difference is charged at the time of the change and the new allowance is available right away. There is no cancellation fee.
What happens when the token allowance runs out?
While your Trial or subscription is active, an agent keeps running on your own key, billed by your provider, when it uses a fixed model, has that provider's key configured and has no fallback chain. Agents in automatic mode (auto) or with a declared fallback stop until you add a Booster ($10 per 1M tokens) or upgrade.
Do I need a credit card for the Trial?
No. The 15-day Trial doesn't require a card and includes 100K complimentary Zihin tokens. If they run out before the period ends, the same rule as an exhausted allowance applies. When the 15 days end, agents stop, even with your own key, until you choose a paid plan.
How does billing work?
Monthly subscription in US dollars, renewing automatically; Boosters and extra seats are billed in the same cycle. Usage on your own key is billed separately by the AI provider, with no Zihin markup.
What's the difference between Editor and Member?
Editors create and edit agents in the console. Members use agents that are already configured (chat, WhatsApp, Slack) and don't access the console. Both count as plan users.
What does Business dedicated support include?
Response within 4 hours on critical tickets, a shared Slack channel with the Zihin team, and a dedicated technical account manager with quarterly usage and roadmap reviews. The platform availability target follows the Terms of Use.
Which plan includes Zihin Tunnel and MCP Bridge?
On Business. Both require a coordinated deployment in your network; to evaluate before signing, talk to the sales team.
